Coors Light Names Sandra Raffaelli Líder of the Year

— Raffaelli to Receive $25,000 for a Community Program in West Palm Beach —

CHICAGO, IL - September 23, 2019 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) - Coors Light is proud to announce Sandra Raffaelli as the winner of the 2019 Coors Light Líder of the Year. For 13 years, the Coors Light Líderes program has honored the importance of leadership in the Latino community and helped emerging Latino leaders reach their potential.

This national recognition, decided by an online public voting competition, includes a $25,000 grant from Coors Light for Raffaelli to implement a Latino leadership project with her nonprofit, aZul for Better Living, Inc. The nonprofit provides training programs in fashion design, industrial design and the arts to help develop individual skills and financial independence to people with developmental disabilities. Raffaelli is among 12 outstanding Latino leaders nominated by nonprofit organizations for their leadership, achievements and lasting impact in their community.

Through nonprofit partnerships, signature programs and long-term investments that support economic development, Coors Light is helping to build stronger communities for everyone. Since 2006, the Coors Light Líderes program has recognized and highlighted the achievements of emerging Latino leaders.

After 12 finalists are chosen by an expert panel, the winner is selected through an online voting competition supported by a national advertising campaign and robust community outreach. The Coors Light Líderes program offers up-and-coming Latino professionals with leadership tools, resources and networking opportunities. Past Líderes of the Year have developed leadership programs in education, entrepreneurship, professional development, technology and the arts.
